School Aim

At Marlwood School we work collectively to provide a high quality education, in an inclusive and supportive environment, against a backdrop of high expectations. We aim towards every child discovering their unique talents, making progress and reaching their personal best, whatever their starting point or learning needs. In doing so, we hope to develop respectful and resilient individuals who go on to become responsible future citizens that enrich their communities. 

We aim to achieve this by:-

• Providing a safe, happy and inclusive environment where everyone is known and valued, where differences are celebrated and individual learning needs are met.

• Offering a range of educational opportunities and memorable learning experiences, both inside and outside of the classroom delivered by skilled and enthusiastic staff.

• Developing students’ character, beliefs and attitudes that will equip them to live a successful and fulfilling life in modern Britain.

• Preparing students for the next step in their journey, whether that is further education, training or the world of work.
